A bridal show is a popular avenue for brides and wedding vendors to meet and discuss wedding planning services. For wedding vendors, bridal shows are a fundamental element of their marketing strategy. Bridal shows allow vendors to interact with hundreds of prospective clients in one location. For this reason, it is extremely important that vendors have an eye-catching and appealing booth at the show. When decorating a bridal show table, display your most important information without overwhelming the guests.
Instructions
- 1
Cover the table with a good-quality cloth tablecloth that falls to a visually appealing length. For a short table, have a tablecloth that almost hits the floor; for a tall table, have a tablecloth that falls down at least three-quarters of the way to the floor. Make sure the tablecloth is not too long; excess fabric on the floor may cause guests to trip as they walk past your table. Select a color that reflects your company's overall attitude. For example, an elegant bridal gown company would select an elegant color, such as silver, gold or navy. On the other hand, an energetic cupcake bakery might use a bright yellow, pink or orange tablecloth.
2Ensure your company name is in a prominent position in large, easy-to-read letters. You might hang a company sign on the front portion of table, but for best results, hang a sign behind the table at eye level or slightly higher. Incorporate your logo into the sign.
3Display samples of your products on the table, if possible, but keep the display simple to avoid overwhelming visitors. A bakery might display cookies, cakes or cupcakes. A photographer might display one or two large photos of previous work. Some vendors may choose to forgo this step entirely. For example, a tuxedo rental company may not have any items to display.
4Place several portfolios front and center on the bridal show table. These should display your products, your previous jobs and any other information the prospective client might need. The portfolio will be one of the main selling points; it is important that it looks professional and contains quality pictures of your work.
5Arrange a business card holder on each end of the table and refill the holders throughout the bridal show. Place a decorative notepad and a pen next to the business card holders. Place a small sign next to the notepad, inviting guests to leave an email address or mailing address so they can be sent additional information. To encourage guests to leave their information, approach it as a raffle. Let your guests know that anyone who leaves their information will be entered to win a prize, such as a discount off your services.
